Diet Plan (pls Comment On My Menu Plan)?
Hi. I’m a 24 year old guy who just recently started my diet plan. I weigh about 240-260 lbs and I’m 5′9 tall. Lately i’ve been really scared cause from my 38 waist measurement , it raised up to 41 which got my already big tummy bigger the last time I checked. So I decided to make a diet plan and start working out. I’m going to share my personally made diet plan and I hope you could comment if it’s effective. I’m serious about making this work and I hope you guys could bear with me and help guys. Thanks.By the way, I’m on graveyard shift work where I start at 11pm and Go home at 6am and sleep at 7 in which I would like to ask too if is it bad for a guy like me who wants to take off my big belly to sleep at morning, have my diet meals at afternoon till night and have exercise at night too? Any constructive criticism would be accepted, just no flames pls..
Here’s my menu plan for a day which I follow throughout the week:
2 PM 1 whole Boiled Chicken Breast
1 cup white rice
2 Glasses Water
4 PM 2 slice white bread + 1/2 can tuna flakes in oil drained (sandwich)
1 High Calorie Energy Drink
6 PM 1 whole Hard Boiled Egg
Grower Nuts (1 handful)
1 High Calorie Energy Drink
7-7:45 PM Cardio Exercise (Fast Walking, Jogging, Sprinting)
8 PM 1/2 Cup Golden Oats w/ 1 pc.banana sliced toppings
2 Glasses Water
10 PM 1 whole Hard Boiled Egg
1/2 can tuna flakes in oil drained
12 AM 1 pc banana
2 Glasses Water
Grower Nuts (1 handful)
Total Overall: Protein: 109.65, Carb: 216.19 Fat: 79.71 Calorie: 2069
So what do you think guys? Is that ok?
Looks pretty good, I only have 4 critics:
1. Replace the white rice with brown rice and the white bread with whole grain/wheat.
2. Try water-packed tuna or rinse the tuna before eating.
3. Do 2-3 hardboiled egg whites and 1 yoke.
4. Eliminate or replace the high calorie energy drink with either coffee, water, or a lower calorie drink. (you don’t need ‘energy’ to start your workout- your body will energize itself once you get started.) Alternatively, try a protein shake after your workout.
Good luck!
