Will A Strict Low-calorie Diet Help Me Lose Weight, I Wanna Go On A 800/900 Calorie Diet..?
provided you excersise, and take a multivitamin pill, and when you are finished, increase calorie intake by 50/day, you should never gain any weight back and stay out of starvation mode.
you will lose more weight, up to a pound more a week, than if you ate 1200 calories.
A very low calorie diet might help you lose weight – initially – but it is not a good idea for a couple of reasons.
First of all when you go on a very low calorie diet you lose lean body weight (muscle) as well as fat. In fact, on very low calorie diets your body will burn muscle INSTEAD of fat – which is definitely not what you want.
The second reason is that, once you end the diet, you will rapidly regain all the weight you have lost. Only you will regain the weight as fat. So now you have managed to lose muscle and add fat.
The third reason to avoid such diets is that they are generally unhealthy.
I advise people who want to lose weight to FORGET about calories and simply focus on the foods that they should be eating while eliminating those that are unhealthy.
I have a lot of information on this on my website at http://www.physicians-weight-loss-tips.c... if you are interested.
I will also have a complete weight loss program available from the site in the near future.
If you want to be advised of when the complete weight loss program is available, just click on the “Updates” button on the left side of the homepage and I will e-mail you when everything is up and running.
All the best

these kinds of diets don’t work for a variety of reasons:
- when you cut don your calories so much, your metabolism slows down and doesn’t burn energy as quickly/much
- your body will try to hold on to every calorie it can get because you’re depriving it
- you won’t get all your nutrients from the food groups; dairy, protein, fruits & vegetables, and grains
- when you get off the diet you will gain back the weight because of what i mentioned before with the metabolism
try to get in at least 1200 calories or more a day through healthy foods like bread, apples, carrots, celery, lean meat like turkey, milk, cheese and strawberries and raisins. exercise for fun.
strict low calorie will help, but you need at least 1000 calories a day just to have your internal organs work properly. eat at least 1200 calories a day, drink plenty of water, and get at least 30 minutes of exercise every day.
It usually works for about 3 weeks to 2 months before you really begin to pleateau and become stagnant then if you add a little bit more calories you add on more weight. Stick more around 1000 – 1200 eating throughout the day. And when you pleateau add in more calories for about a week or two then decrease again. This should get you over the pleateau.
yeah, but i think 1000-1500 calories will suffice. 900 cal is the bare minimum of cals you need to survive, so maybe go a little higher if you’re willing to exercise. remember – proteins, complex carbs, fruits, veggies, etc.
Yes but don’t go that low it will actually slow down your metabolism.
1200-1600 calories combined with good exercise program should do it for you.
