If it is only 10 pounds you are trying to lose than mabye your diet plan will work, but most likely your metabolisim alone will not be enough to burn more calories than you take in so you willl have to exercise at some point during your weight loss. But you should buy a treadmill and walk on it 3-6 times a day in 10 min segments or all at once ( Break it up however you please). As for your max daily calorie intake would be about 1,200 calories. Since you are trying to lose weight consuming less calories will make it easier upon yourself. Remember to drink lots of water! GOOD LUCK!!!

your max intake should be no more than 1000 cal. try for 800 if you can? You’ll see fast results with 800, but if your nursing go for the 1000

It depends on what you burn. A gym is not neccessary, walking, and doing stairs counts, too. 1500 calories most days, but once a week do 2000, or your metabolism will slow and you will burn less. 1200 one day a week if you can.

You may loose some weight, but as soon as you eat more calories, you’ll just gain it back! You don’t have to go to a gym, just walk more! Park at the far end of the parking lot and walk, do the stairs where ever you can, walk to the store, take the baby for walks! Do exercises while you clean house, if you try, you can think of lots of ways to get extra movement in your day and that’s what will help more than anything to keep the weight off! Good Luck!

Eat about 2000 calories a day, with a healthy breakfast, enough protein (86 grams a day for your weight), limit sugars and simple carbs.

If your caloric intake is lower than the amount that you burn daily, you should lose weight. It will depend on your metabolism. You should ask the nutritionist where you get your post natal care about how much and how fast the weight should come off. If you are breast feeding…it will make a difference. My sister just had a baby and the daily activities are bringing her down safely and nicely. Give yourself a break…you just had a baby!

The only way to lose weight, the only way, is to burn more calories than you take in. Put the baby in the stroller and walk, walk, walk.

I think i hear somewhere that to lose weight it’s 90% diet and 10% excercise so you might

If you’re really serious about losing weight you really need to MAKE time to excercise.

Check out this for your caloric intake. Be aware it’s approximate.http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/patsy4a….
In order to lose 1 lb a week you should take your daily caloric intake and subtract 500 calories. It takes about 3500 calories a week to loose 1 lb.
So the more calories you burn or deprive yourself, the faster it is to loose weight. That is why a combo of diet AND exercise is the best approach.

Yes, you’ll lose weight in the short term, then you’ll gain it back and then some. Why? Byy starving yourself and not excercising, you are slowing your metabolism so that once you eat anything beyond a carrot stick, your body will store it , turn it to fat and not let go of it. You MUST excercise to jump start your metabolism. You don’t need a gym. You need to walk swiftly everyday and buy some resistance bands and low weights that you can do from home.

To put it simply: If you take in less calories than you burn, you lose weight, regardless of the amount of calories. So, if on this diet you take in less calories than you burn when not exercising, you will lose weight. See: http://www.aarp.org/health/staying_healt…

Better to make time to exercise. It’s the only way your post-baby fat will really disappear. Exercise increases your metabolism.

You might lose a little, but be careful because if you cut your calories too much, you will actually lower your metabolism and your body will try to conserve fat.

if you dont exercise your results are not gona be that good – you may slow down your metabolism
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
    8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast – they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner – repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Yes you will lose weight but without exercise you are not going to tone up. Make time for exercise. If you really want to lose weight stay under 1,000 calories a day.

I did, with minimal exercise. Try the slim fast. Only bad thing is once you quit the diet, it comes back pretty fast (the weight)

Given your height and weight, I can tell you not to go bellow 1,100 calories a day. Follow my 7 principles on my web site and you will be fine. Proper food combining can really help.

    144 x 10 = 1440 calories a day to lose weight gradually
