Is Too Much Protein A Bad Thing?

I bought some whey powder and it says to consume 1-3 servings a day during a workout period.
Now, one serving is 46% of the recommended daily value for a 2000 calorie diet…so 3 servings on top of the protein i regularly consume during meals…wouldn’t I get sick or something?

Uh, yeah! Eating extra protein actually doesn’t do very much toward increasing your muscle mass and strength. Eating more than 30% of your total daily caloric intake could put stress on your organs. If you are eating too much protein and less carbs and fibers, your body can go into ketosis and increase insulin resistance with leads to coronary artery disease and hypertension . Ketosis can result in mild dehydration because This causes headaches, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, problems with sleep, confusion, and kidney problems. I’d do some research if I were you before you consume protein powder and make sure you know what you are doing. Plus, I would get my protein in a safer and more guaranteed way.

Meh, you probably won’t be sick, but you better be working out a good bit, or you are just going to get fat, not muscular.
