Protein does not turn into fat. You dont want to take too much protein as too much can cause kidney damage in susceotable people. You would be much better off taking a look at the GI Diet especially if you are thinking of doing hard exercise. You need carbs! Dont try and cut them out!

If you are serious about losing weight, the calories
in the food you eat should be less than the
energy you use. You will have to increase your
metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will
lose weight faster. More details available athttp://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

It doesn’t turn to fat, as a matter of fact the body burns more calories breaking down protein than you take in eating it. The problem is, it is hard on your kindneys to metabolize. An excessive amount will harm you eventually. Combat that by drinking lots of water. Not pop or coffee or tea which contain caffeine because it is a diuretic that makes your kidney work harder. Eat a high fiber diet with some fat and low carbs and the weight will fall off. Good luck! Remember drink water!!

Try a lot of fruit and veggies all day long, starting with a protein shake in the morning. Have chicken or fish with dinner most nights and avoid snacks and fattening foods. Still have a carb at some point. Your body needs and craves it.
