Help With Possible Eating Disorder??

Okay, so I’m a 17-year-old female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and about 135 pounds. I just recently lost 50 pounds, and I’m still trying to lose weight. I’ve dealt with anorexia before, so I know what it’s like, but I was just wondering what you guys thought about my situation …
I don’t think I’m underweight. In fact, I would like to lose a few more pounds. But I haven’t gotten my period in three months, and recently, I’ve been getting chest pains and feeling dizzy. My heart rate is slow (only about 48 beats per minute), my hair is dry and falling out, and I’m just plain out of energy. I’m on a pretty low-calorie diet (900 to 1200 calories per day), and I exercise sometimes up to 2 hours per day. I really don’t think I’m too skinny right now (I actually think I could stand to lose a few more pounds), so why is my body reacting like this? I’m scared. What should I do?

You really need to stop this now. What you are doing is harmful. You are not overweight at all for your height, so please listen to me when I say this: STOP.
Forget about calories, just forget about them. Eat normally, three meals, healthy snacks. Excercise for about half an hour a day instead of two hours. The problem is that you are not eating enough calories and you are burning too many for your intake.
If the symptoms you’ve been having continue, please see a doctor. Don’t play around with your health.

what you have to do is get your calorie intake to atleast 1200..if you work out 2 hours that is about 300 calories? so basically you should eat enought to fill the 1200 calories. you probably arn’t having normal bowle movements and periods are important..i know someone who did what you are doing and hasnt been able to get her period back and probably wont be able to have children..so just think able what could happen and understand that if you eat healthy and are active your body with slim its self down..if you actually starve yourself your body eventually wont know how to react to food..when you work out it counts as not eating that 300 calories which can bring you down to a 900 calorie day which is unhealthy..you need the nutrients and everything in the food..when you sweat you get rid of wastes…i hope this helps if you have any questions ask!

Your body has sent you into a very serious state of anorexia. I know how it is because I’ve been there too. It’s scary, but as much as you want to loose weight, you cant afford it. The only thing you can afford is gaining weight. You are actually underweight and you need a lot more calories for the amount of exercise you do. See a doctor as hard as it may be you need help. If you ever need to talk just e-mail me.

Negative Calorie Foods

The phrase, "negative calorie food", as highlighted in negative calorie diet programs and books, usually refers to foods that allegedly require more energy to digest than they contain. Since the process of digestion requires the use of calories for energy, sometimes the net amount of metabolizable energy available from a food is less than the gross number of calories contained in the food.
