Your question is a little difficult to understand. Depending on who you ask you will usually get two answers. 1 there is not difference a calorie is a calorie. Others would say that a fat calorie could actually be better for you and help you to lose weight faster. There are many different types of diets, but it has been proven beyond a doubt that eliminating fat from you diet completely does NOT help you lose weight, it can actually hinder it. In fact studies have shown adding fish oil, fat, helps people to loose weight faster.

There isn’t one. A Calorie is a measurement of energy, which can be anything- thermal energy, electrical energy, or chemical energy from food, among other things.
A measure of the total calories in a serving includes the energy from carbohydrates, fat and protein; ie: everything. Calories from fat is just the energy from the fat content.
For practical purposes there is no difference. You gain weight from eating too much food, taking in too much energy. Where that energy comes from doesn’t change anything, only your total intake matters. Add up all the calories, from everything you eat (food, drink, etc).
For health purposes you should be careful how much fat you take in, as too much can increase your risk of various diseases in the long term. Depending on your weight, you shouldn’t take in more than 40-60g of fat per day. Again though, as far as weight loss is concerned your fatty intake is much less important than overall calories.

You need to know the total calories per serving and how many calories are from fat. Example: if the food item has 100 calories and 50 of those calories are from fat , then you would be eating something that has 50% of it’s calories coming from fat. A healthy guideline would be to limit yourself to food items that only have about 1/3rd of the calories coming from fat. So if an item has 100 calories per serving, you don’t want to see more than 33 calories coming from fat. I used the 100 calorie food example just to make the math easier; get a calculator and divide the calories from fat into the total calories. If you get more than 30-33 %, then you would be wise to avoid the food or use it in combination with a very low fat food to keep your fat ratio under 33%.

The calories of fat determine…. from all the energy this particular food has, this is how much is coming from fat. There is a correlation with the fat grams and calories from fat. Generally you should watch the fat quantity for your overall health. Ultimately, calories are calories, so if you’re eating 2,000 cals a day and it’s coming from fried chicken or something, it’s the same as eating 2,000 calories from salads and healthier options. The difference is what is it doing to your insides??? Calories are just energy.

there are 9 calories in a gram of fat, and there are only 4 calories in a gram of protein or a gram of carbohydrates. That means that if you eat 5 grams of fat you would get more than double the calories than if you ate 5 grams of protein or carbs. Hope that’w what you were looking for.
