Do You Think I Am Eating Too Much?

Ok So I am a 16 year old guy, probably 5′6″-5′7″ and around 120 pounds who is just trying to watch what I eat a little. I am VERY active (though mildly injured at the moment). The problem is, I’m always hungry! THe other day I noticed I ate 3,000 calories, and I probably could have eaten more! I just don’t see sticking to a 2,000 calorie diet as a logical goal for me. Any advice? I realize I’m growing and need more calories, but even sticking to 2600 calories can be difficult for me. I usually run around 5.5 miles daily. Some days I go further (like Sundays I do between 7 and 8 miles) and other days I do my 5.5 and go to the gym for triathlon training so I also do a 13 mile bike and a half mile swim. I realize this is being VERY active but I have tried some calorie calculators and I’m just not sure about what I should be eating. Sometimes I just feel like I can’t get full. They say eat when you are hungry, but I’m always hungry! I can’t help feeling like I’m eating just to be eating. Just a little guidance would be nice. Thanks!
Oh, and before people freak out, I’m not anorexic or OCD exercising or something. I just want to watch what I eat and be healthy.

    you should include what your daily menu USUALLY looks like …
    you could be eating 3000 calories of good nutritionally dense food ( which would be ok and explain why your weight is so low …. calories are not the only thing that counts in your weight )
    or you could be eatting 3000 calories of crap ….

    You can lose weight if you use correct way. I tried many way, but could not lose weight. I found the best way that works fast for anyone. I lost my weight easy using this weight loss way.     Honestly, you are a sixteen year old guy. You can eat as much as you want. If you are hungry, eat. Your body knows what it is doing. I’m not saying go out and binge on Mickey Dee’s but I am saying to enjoy your uber fast metabolism. Three thousand calories is actually acceptable for a growing teenage boy.

    Burning calories was a lot easier for me when I started visiting acai berry. I know they say that pills won’t work, nevertheless they sure worked for me, and they’ve been shown on CNN too.     yes I think for 120 pounds you are eating too much.
    just concentrate on your body fitness. Then it will be good.
    Please don’t go beyond 1800 cals.
    eat everything you like but not on the same day.
    80% health and 20% your likes although fat stuff.

    that happens when youre active and growing. no youre not eating too much. but are you only eating junk food?
    just make sure to eat healthy and stay active
