I’ve Lost 1 Pound In 3 Weeks, Is That Good For Just Starting My First Diet?

I’ve gone down from 144.4 to 143.4. My goal for the end of July was 142, but I’ll settle for losing a pound. I need to lose 8.4 pounds by next month (September). Is this possible? What should my calorie intake be? I’m 14 1/2 and exercise an hour a day. What foods should I stay away from? And how can I keep myself motivated?
ALSO – How much weight do I have to lose to go down a pant size? I’m at size 8, and I want to be size 6. How much weight should I lose before I can fit into 6s?
Because actually, a week ago I was 141.6 but I ate all day just because I was happy to have lost all that weight, and ended up gaining it back within 2 days, so the motivational part is important.
BTW, I’m trying to get down to 135. Thank you!

    A healthy diet and exercise plan should result in a 1-2 pound weight loss per week. So in 3 weeks you should have lost anywhere from 3-6 pounds on average. It’s possible to lose even more than that in 3 weeks.
    Losing as much as 10-20 pounds in one month is normal and healthy as well depending on how you do it. You should google diet and exercise plans or check with your family doctor to create a more effective dieting and weight loss plan for yourself.

    I am not sure whether u have at all lost any weight.
    Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
    Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
    U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

    I’m not sure what you are eating, but at 14.5 years old you should be able to drop 2 pounds a week rather easily. Cut out soda….diet included. Stick with water, decaf green tea (iced tea, but not the pre-bottled stuff). Keep off red meats, stick with chicken and fish, green veggies, fruits. You didn’t mention how tall you are. If you are really concerned with eating healthy, which is the only good way to lose weight, ask your mother to take you to your family doctor and let him/her guide you.

    really 1 pound is not much to loose in THREE weeks you pretty much are one of the worst dieters i’ve ever heard of ,if u diet do it all the way ddont celebrate by eating wtf is wrong with you also you never say that you excercise do you onestly think the weight will magicaly dissappear you are so increadably stupid you make me feel normal <3 j
