One Pound = 3500 Calories? The How Much Do U Spend Everyday?
ok to lose one pound of fat u need to burn 3500 calories
but the daily calorie requirement is 2000
so inorder to lose one pound of fat in lets say one week, one needs to maintain a diet of 2000 x 7 calories a week and burn 3500 calories in a week?
Erm, I guess. But the 2000 is different for everyone, and you have to make sure you burn off the 2000 you eat daily (usually you do with regular activities). You shouldn’t try to burn the 3500 by chance, you should do schedualed workouts to lose the calories.
Throughout the day, if someone eats a 2,000 calorie diet, they usually burn most of it off through daily activities (including 30 minutes of extra cardio: extra meaning not just from class to class but maybe a walk on the beach or a game of basketball). So don’t count calories and try to lose a pound a week, instead, eat healthy, but eat what you want and be active. That doesn’t mean you have to go to the gym, but I have found that actually getting ready, getting in your car, and going to the gym makes it easier to get it over with, because I’m not really a sporty person.
Ok the calorie requirement is not techniqually 2000. It just depends on your weight, height, and body mass. I used to keep myself on a 1300 calorie diet. But if you cut things down and add more green things to your diet then you will lose weight, plus when you add a cardio workout an crunches an things after your 30 minutes of cardio you will lose weight.
it is not that simple. Everybody’s basal metabolic rate (BMR) is different. 2000 is jsut a rough average. BMRs in the 1200 calorie range are quite common, as well as those in the 2600 range.
One rule to consider is your BMR will never drop below 800 thats the amoutn required to maintain your brain. You could be an athelete and have a high BMR, even when you don’t exercise your body burns 3000 calories a day but there are people who naturally burn 1000+ calories a day.
And for gods sakes DO NOT LISTEN TO IDIOTS SELLING PRODUCTS. Cleaning your colon is a stupid idea because the bacteria there actually produce some vitamins you cannot get any other way.
okay, well… your body naturally burns around 1000-1400 (depends on body type) by just sitting around breathing and having your organs working, then exercise takes more off. of course you still need to eat for energy to work out and just live so that’s why they say 2000. plus remember you still need some fat to be healthy and cushion your organs. but if you want to loose any lbs i’d say watch what you eat (not just calories, but carbs and sugars) like keep sugars under 9ish grams) .. then again a good meal is supposed to be 300-500 calories. but i’d say eat 4 small meals a day (dont forget fruits and veges) and then drinks lots of water, that speeds up your metabolism. need some milke thrown in there to build bones… and exercise at least an hour a day.
