Is It Possible To Get Fat, Yet Not Gain Any Wieght On A Scale?

Lets say you ate around 1800 calories a day for a week. One way would be eating abunch of reeses peanut butter cups(or some other snack) until you hit your mark for the day. Anouther way would be eating allot of healthyier foods, untill you get exactly 1800 calories. Lets say that your body needs around 2000 calories daily, so eating abit lower would be considered as dieting. Would you still get fat for eating those high fattening foods, even though calorie wise you wernt going that high?
I guess I have two questions. The main reason I ask this is because I have been dieting for awhile now, and dropped about 40 pounds in the course of a year. I started at 207, now down to 160. It was hard, and I noticed my face and shoulders seemed to loose the most wieght. This was from mostly wieght training, and eating less for the weight loss. probably lost some muscle mass as well over the course of time, but oh well.. conti

maybe u have water retention that makes your face swell a bit so it looks fatter…but if u didnt exercise, maybe u really are fatter because remember muscle mass is heavier than fats.If u didnt gain weight but look fatter u may have more fat content…
Also i think eating any foods as long as u stick to the same caloric intake and exercise will not cause u to gain weight..
i did that and not gain weight..whereas last time when i ate so much healthy food and not watch my caloric intake i gained instead..just eat the foods u like ,if u eat those that u dont, u will end up eating more…
all the best..u have done a great losing so much weight..but must take care of ur health.
Are u a girl? if u are becareful that too excesive dieting may cause ur periods to be irregular.

not all calories are created equal…think about the content of what you were eating….if you were eating a ton of reeses cups..those have large amounts of sugar…where as if you were eating baked chicken and vegetables, that’s a high protein and fiber diet. You body would use them in different ways…Reeses would turn quickly to fat but the vegetables and chicken would help your body with energy and muscle growth (provided that you were lifting any sort of weight). The way I look at it is, if you have a goal of weight loss…you need to consume foods that are made up of nutrients that will help you get to your goal…not ones that are going to make it harder.
