Help Me Lose Weight Please!!?
i want to lose a couple of pounds, perferably on my stomach. i started running for 15-30 minutes every night (starting last night). i also lift 8 pound dumbbells, its really the only dumbbells I have, but I do about 300 of them. Do you think thats good? I’m actually pretty strong, and can push myself at stuff like lifting. but when it comes to running and those sorts of things, I can’t seem to push myself that much. What is a good daily routine I can do, every night?
Also, what are some foods I could eat? I eat alot, and I want to break that habit… I just started drinking diet coke to try and help lower my calorie intake, and I’m still not sure if its good for me.
seriously the only way to really lose weight is to just make less of the portions you eat. eat less. keep yourself hungry! & avoid bread, & pasta. if you do have bread; have wheat bread. it works for me.
if you really wanna lose a lot of weight; look into the grapefruit diet! it works and grapefruits fill you up. not to mention they’re pretty good =)
Maybe you should try something like weight watchers. It is pretty simple and you can eat anything you want within reason. If you decide to check it out here is a group with alot of helpful links and tools to help you along the way;-)http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/foww/
well, I’m kind of in the same position as you…and well I’m only drinking water…NOTHING else…just water, I gotta loose weight by August….so, no soda, juice, alcohol, etc. for 3 months….and I’m also eating alot of vegetables and fruits…..and I exercise about 30 minutes every morning….i know what you’re talking about when you say pushing yourself, I myself don’t like running….and I recently bought a dog, and thought that was going to help me, but nope….can’t even get myself up at least 30 minutes to go take the dog for a walk…..but, if you really want to loose weight…then make ur self a goal….for example….”I gotta be this size of pants or blouse by the end of this month, day, or whatever”…..you can just keep that in mind. It’ll probably work, you never know.
oh and one more thing…..if you have a scale….DON’T go checking everyday if you lost weight……I use to do that..and when I saw no progress I discouraged myself….so, keep tha in mind also
