I Am Trying To Lose 23 Pounds By September 1st. Help Me!?
Hi guys. I’m trying to lose 23 lbs over the summer, or at least 10.
My new diet is now three square meals a day- each meal a Weight Watchers microwave diet which consists of 250 calories and 7 grams of fat. I also have a side of fruit here and there, and only drink Tap water or Lemon-flavored, 50-calorie Vitamin Water.
I’m thirteen years old.
And, I cannot ride a bike, run anywhere without getting run over by a car, jump rope(don’t know how), or walk anywhere daily, really. I do, however, have a Dance Dance Revolution game(supernova), but I can only do Basic mode, which is one higher than beginner. Will I burn fat this way? How much exercise and what do I have to do to reach this goal? It’s really important to me. What are some fun exercises? How much do I have to do? Any dieting tips? I WANT TO LOSE THIS WEIGHT SO BAD. This is my chance.
Help me. Give me advice, fun/effective exercises, tips to stay motivated and consistent, anything at all. Anything.
You are doing a great job! Don’t forget swimming,even if you can’t swim you can hang onto the ladder & kick vigorously.The water acts as super resistance.If a friend has a trampoline,it is also fun and works all major muscle groups.Walking is the best & drinking lotsa water.
One more thing too.Ask where your county’s nutrional office is.Free of charge,they will design a food pyramid customed just for you for ages 18 and under.Like having a personal trainer without spending money.

hi . well jumping jax work just as well as rope. try workout videos, or running in place while watching your favorite shows. I know it sounds silly but i have many clients lose weight that way. I f you have stairs walk up and down them during the comercials.
also in order to look toned litft some weights do squats, lunges, ccurls, crunches, and the sort.
and most importantly make sure you are eating enough. in order to keep the weight off you have to have enough calories in your diet. if you starve your body it will hold on to fat. this is starvation mode. you body will break down muscle for energy which in turn slows your metabolism down causing you to actually gain fat. yes the scale will go down but you will be flabby
so yes you can lose the weight. do the cardio, weights, and eat ( feed your muscles). the amount of calories you should be eating is ( weight X 10) so if you weigh 130 lbs multiply by 10 you should be eating 1300 calories.

Go to http://www.fitday.com. You can set up a free account and it counts up your calorie intake and tell you how many calories you burn with different activities! I’ve lost 30lbs in 2 months! I can still eat things I like but I just make sure i dont go over 2000 calories!
It sounds like you should lose weight if you stick with this. Three weight watchers meals are giving you 750 calories and you get a little bit from the fruit & water. Doing the dance dance revolution is good exercise and will help you lose weight. Just stick with it. Good luck.
As long as you avoid junk food, soft drink, greasy and sugary stuff, your diet should be fine. Try eating more slowly, you’ll get full faster, and stop eating once you’re feeling full. DDR is fine, but you need more cardio than that. At home you can try jump rope. There’s nothing complicated about jumping, just jump the way you always do. You don’t even need a rope. Keep in mind that you can only lose 2.5lbs a week at most. Any more and they will just be muscle and water. Good luck.
