I’m On A Diet Can I Eat What I Want On The Weekends?
I’ve been on a Diet all week eating lean cuisine and healthy choice meals along with a salad with low fat dressing and also eating fruits in between meals. I have also been hitting the gym hard everyday.
I’ve been doing really good. I feel alot better already. I’m only trying to lose about 15 pounds. But after really watching my calorie intake for the week by eating lean cuisine, etc… I feel really hungry like I can devour a horse.
I was wondering if it was Ok for me to cheat on the weekends and still lose weight if I stick to my diet throughout the week and workout.

But I’m on a diet that does exactly that. First of all, you are limited in foods. All of your meals must have a meat, vegetables, and beans. If you can manage to make a lot of meals with only those, that’s perfect. However, no sweets, no grains (unless before hands you did strenuous exercise) and minimal dairy (only milk, just a glass or two a day). And, surprisingly enough, no fruit, either. Also minimal fat is needed. Eggs can be substituted for meat.
If you can manage that, then (it’s supposed to be one day a week, but I don’t see why you can’t cheat for a whole weekend if you absolutely must) you get to eat what you want. For me, Sun-Fri I’m on the diet, and Saturday, not only am I allowed to pig out – it’s required.
The problem with most specific food diet, is that your body gets used to it. If you just eat the protein, veggies and beans, your body will realize you aren’t getting enough fat, so your body adjusts to that diet, so it only works for a bit.
With this diet, you specifically eat fatty, sugary foods on your off day, your body doesn’t adjust to that diet, so you still get all the benefits from it.
Not exactly your diet, but it works. You’re supposed to lose about 20 lbs in 30 days.
