			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As a recovering anorexic sometimes I count my daily calorie intake to make sure I&#8217;m eating enough&#8230; and well, the last two times I have I&#8217;ve fallen somewhat short.  Both counts were under between 1000-1200, and as someone who exercises for at least 2 hrs a day, I know that this isn&#8217;t enough. Take what I ate today for example:<br />
breakfast: 1 small bowl of shreddies with 1% milk -210 cals and 1/2 cup oj -50 cals<br />
lunch: 1 homemade smoothie (made with 1 banana, about 3/4 cup frozen blueberries, 1/4 cup fat free yogurt, and around 1 tablespoon hemp hearts) &#8211; 200 cals, homemade healthy cookie (it really is healthy!  it&#8217;s 100% whole wheat and contains apple, carrot, raisins and oats) &#8211; 180 calories<br />
Dinner: Whole wheat, vegetable calzone with mozarella and curry sauce &#8211; 450 calories with a very light salad &#8211; 50 calories and v8 juice &#8211; 50 calories<br />
altogether thats 1190 calories.  last week when i counted it was 1050.  what can i change in my diet to boost the calorie count a little?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>okay so i was wondering i have been on a diet for several months now and i was wondering if it is because i still eat pasta. well for lunch i like to have a turkey sandwich with 2 slices of wheat bread  and at supper something i will have a medium size baked potato will a teaspoon of butter and on occasion i will have spaghetti or tuna casserole with the smart taste noodles which are high in calcium and fiber but i still add what i eat into my calorie intake and work it off by doing taebo or jogging also when i eat starch i try to eat it with meat because they say that if you eat starch with meat it will turn into something more use full for the body then fat.. is that true<br />
so is eating all this starch keeping me from really loosing weight  and staying healthy</p>

Now they are trailing all the way to the UK from Canada and I wanted to give him the best birthday ever&#8230;. Full-English breakfast, Muffins, Birthday cake etc&#8230; But that&#8217;s hardly suitable now.<br />
I have already arranged for a variety of activities while they are here (kayaking, rock climbing, walking and biking tours &#8211; fun activities that involve a little bit of exercise) but also museum trips and a shopping spree (girl&#8217;s gotta shop!) I am really just struggeling with the food bit on the actual day.<br />
He will turn 9 and I really want it to be a memorable day without a gloomy diet and the daily debate of weight-loss hanging over him.<br />
How can I still have a typical birthday party for him but as little calories as possible. I don&#8217;t want him to feel bad about his weight on his birthday by munching on rice crisps!</p>

I am 6&#8242;2 204 pounds and want to get to 190 but I have increased my calorie intake but I find when eating healthy I tend to get to 800 to 1000 calories and my body is not very hungry.</p>
